Psychotherapy
Licensed Professional Counselor Associate (supervised by B. Nunez-LPC-Supervisor)
As a mental health therapist, I am committed to fostering a safe and supportive environment where clients can build trust, develop self-awareness, and feel empowered to create meaningful change. My therapeutic approach is both intuitive and client-led, allowing sessions to adapt to individual needs while maintaining a focus on progress and goals. I integrate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Person-Centered Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Trauma-Informed Care, and mindfulness techniques to provide a well-rounded, evidence-based foundation for my work.
I believe that lasting change occurs through cognitive restructuring and emotional healing. My role is to guide clients in challenging unhelpful patterns, cultivating resilience, and rediscovering their strengths. While I prioritize client autonomy, I also provide direct guidance when needed and incorporate practical tools such as homework and progress tracking to support growth outside of sessions.
Building trust and empathy are central to my practice, as is my ability to challenge clients in a constructive and compassionate manner. Whether addressing trauma, exploring life transitions, or navigating mental health challenges, I am dedicated to helping my clients achieve their goals and lead fulfilling lives.
My therapeutic approach is intuitive, flexible, and client-led, creating a safe and supportive space for healing and growth. I specialize in working with children (5+), teens, and adults with mood disorders, as well as LGBTQI+ adolescents and young adults, and those navigating trauma and grief. With a balance of empathy, direct guidance, and practical tools, I help clients build self-awareness, resilience, and confidence in their ability to create meaningful change.
